We just got word from Jason Schreier on COD 2023 details, explaining the development cycle for it and the decision to turn it into a full release from the previously planned Premium Expansion. Interestingly he also details Activision executives were briefing staff that they have a new "vision" for Call of Duty going forward, with Black Ops and Modern Warfare games receiving TWO YEARS of support. With this year getting a MWII expansion game with a rumored amount of remastered content, this opens the possibility to Call of Duty 2024's Year 2 content also containing remastered content, for Multiplayer and Zombies. This is the perfect opportunity for Activision to sell Zombies Chronicles 2 in a Black Ops Expansion, and monetise the follow up to the biggest COD DLC in history. A year ago now, a Cold War leaker known as "Alaix" teased that Buried and Die Rise are going to be coming to Cold War Zombies as part of a Year 2 Update at SOME POINT in the future. For the longest time we have always wanted to see Zombies Chronicles 2 from Treyarch; a full on sequel DLC pack to Zombies Chronicles containing Tranzit, Die Rise, Buried and Mob from Black Ops 2 Zombies remastered for the newer consoles. A few days later, a new leak appeared on twitter via a user called "Hidanprime" who revealed a TON of information about the original DLC plans for Black Ops 4 Zombies. This information includes the existence of Zombies Chronicles 2 in Black Ops 4 Zombies, containing: Tranzit, Die Rise, Buried, Mob of the Dead, Five and Call of the Dead. Not only that, but a Year 2 of BO4 Zombies DLC was apparently planned including 2 more Chaos maps, and 2 more Aether maps including the Great War. However this can't be taken as fact and must be treated as an unconfirmed rumor as it just sounds too good to be true.
