Zortch is a one man effort from Mutantleg. A small yet cute & competent shooter that aims for a 1999 B-grade look & feel. To achieve this, the author also built its own engine, an engine designed to run on potato PCs if necessary, but working flawlessly on modern computers.

This game was pointed out by a channel subscriber and I've been keeping an eye on it eversince, glad to see it's gaining popularity. It is like a Nintendo 64 thing that never came to be, but ended up ported to PC. I personally love it's pacing, the heavy yet floaty movement, and the moody soundtrack. And it's only 5 bucks!

Zortch es un trabajo de una sola persona de Mutantleg. Un shooter bonico y competente que busca aparentar y sentirse como un shooter de categoría B de 1999. Para conseguirlo, el autor además construyó su propio motor, diseñado para correr en PCs patatos si fuere necesario, pero funciona perfectamente en PCs modernos.

Este juego lo mencionó un suscriptor y le he tenido un ojo echado desde entonces, me alegra ver que está ganando popularidad. Es como un juego de Nintendo 64 que nunca llegó a salir, pero terminó siendo portado a PC. Personalmente me encanta su ritmo, el movimiento pesado pero ligero al mismo tiempo, y la banda sonora tétrica. ¡Y solamente cuesta 5 pavos!
