Unboxing the ZTE Axon 20 5G, the first globally available smartphone with an under-display selfie camera, giving a fullview experience with no notches. This hands-on review tests out that camera and screen tech, tours the specs and shows everything else you need to know about ZTE's Axon 20 5G phone.
The UK price is £419, and it's released from today although early sales will be via invite online. Here's the official ZTE site: http://global.ztedevices.com
While some phones go with pinhole cams or flip-up lenses, this Android handset hides that selfie shooter away underneath the screen. It's clever tech that's not quite seamless but seems to work well here.
The Axon 20 5G has solid specs across the board, including the same Snapdragon 765G chipset as the Pixel 5, a 4020mAh battery, AMOLED screen and 48MP primary camera. Performance is respectable, and should be more than enough for gaming on the likes of PubG. I'm hoping to get all day battery life as well, but I'll update in my full review after proper testing.
