Since this requires another file to setup, this would not be allowed in standard categories

By setting your checkpoint in another file (either Boss or start of a dungeon) then using Forced Cutscene to trigger a boss (Fafnir, Dyguld or Thermidor)
Retry will send you back to your last checkpoint.

For some reason this "Checkpoint" persists through restarting the game, it can only be changed by overwriting with another checkpoint
