I usually avoid dungeon-crawlers, because I find them too repetitive. It's I don't play many beat 'em ups, either, but that's another subject. I would rather play regular RPGs that feature an overworld map, towns, AND dungeons, not just... dungeons, like here. And that's exactly the problem Zwei has. Many dungeons in the same areas, over and over again, and not much else. The leveling up system is not my favorite, either, as you have to eat food to level up.

What saves it is that it's rather short, so you don't have time to get too bored. Also, the pixel art is some of the best I've ever seen in any video game ever, period. Just look at how cute this game is! It's off the charts! Strangely enough, bosses are presented in 3D polygon models, though, but it's cool. I first tried playing the game with a controller, but never got it to work. So I used the mouse and keyboard, which I typically hate doing, but since the game was designed around it, it ended up working pretty well.

The translation is obviously far-fetched -- you've never seen that many puns in a video game before. But it's funny, I enjoyed it. I didn't bother with the bonus dungeons, as I didn't want to level up an extra 10 levels. So I only got to defeat three dragons out of four. Oh well. Overall, a pleasant game, and I'm curious about the sequel!
