About GUIM
Guim is a Music Theory channel that aims to provide you accurate transcriptions of retro video game music (NES, SNES, Genesis, Gameboy, Amiga, and more) in addition to educational videos that hope to provide musicians, composers, and theorists a wealth techniques and insights for their own music and analyses. It also wishes to wrangle in non-musicians that want to enrich their listening experience and understand more about what is happening in the music they grew up loving!
A large goal of this channel is to create a community that invites musical edification!
While the channel is primarily dedicated to exposing the excellent compositions of video games, the channel will occasionally deviate and provide theory lessons for music in the Jazz and Classical langugage.
Transcribing music, making videos, and all of that Jazz takes a LOT of time. You can support my efforts by going to my Patreon and becoming a wonderful patron!
