Put simply, I make videos about video games. From in-depth, long-form reviews of individual titles to broader breakdowns of mechanics and design ideas shared across the industry.
As a British gamer who grew up in a PAL territory, my perspective is shaped by a very different gaming history. The NES barely registered and Sega dominated here. Alongside that, I have a BA (Hons) in Games Art & Design, over a decade working as an Instructional Designer and I am currently developing an indie game, which gives me insight into how games are actually made.
This channel is a hobby, not a job. That allows me to make relaxed, informed and nuanced takes without worrying about algorithms or feeling a sense of obligation.
