About Birds of Play
Two birds from the same nest, putting their knowledge of games to the test.
We are two brothers from Iceland who have been playing games together ever since we can remember, with a heavy emphasis on the Final Fantasy series. As adults, we both do work related to games:
- Nökkvi (Blue) is an aspiring game studies scholar whose main area of interest is Japanese games, the Final Fantasy series in particular.
- Pétur (Red) works in the game industry in Iceland and as such has a practical understanding of, and experience in, the art of game making.
- Jóhanna is our talented illustrator!
Together we want to contribute to the conversation surrounding games, hopefully deepening our appreciation for the medium as well as growing as people. I mean birds...
