What is Sounds of Yore, anyway?
From my perspective, it is my personal record label where I can have the creative freedom to create whatever type of music I feel like, with no reason to try to appeal specifically to a mainstream audience, or any other kind of audience for that matter. My original music is highly influenced by the "Wall of Sound"-era, but also with a lot of other influences from jazz, exotica, pop, rock, progressive and experimental music from all ages. I also do a lot of covers, which can include anything from retro video game themes to Beach Boys or Beatles-records.
