About MATATA OFFICIAL
MATATA is a Kenyan-Norwegian Music and Dance Group based in Oslo, Norway
consisting of 4 Members: Marcos Ojiambo, Richie Mathu, Freddy Milanya, and
Festus Mwenda.
The group has consistently been dropping hits with incredible screenplays exhibited in
equally excellent music videos that have seen their songs often go viral, accompanied
by dance challenges on social media. Their hits catalog includes Inakubalika,
Mpishi, Siko fiti, Chini Chini, Mare Mare, Ruracio, Kata, Gengetone Love, and more.
With plenty of versatility, the group earned a nomination in the 2020 MTV Mama
Award in the “Best Alternative” category. The group has also been awarded
PulseMusic Video Awards for ``Best Group Video of the Year" and Best
Choreography of the Year".
