About Magpie Man Theatre
Magpie Man Theatre is a fledgling company, formed in March 2015, but already has an impressive number of accolades and achievements under their belt. Winner of Best Spoken Word in the Greater Manchester Fringe 2015 for their debut confessional show 'MOUTH', and receiving critical acclaim for their physical theatre follow-up 'AUTOPSY' in 2016, they've paved the way to be increasingly experimental and challenging.
MMT has also closely worked alongside local choirs - Ordsall Acapella Singers provided musical accompaniment to the recorded elements of 'MOUTH' - and MMT are resident writers for Manchester-based WW1 rememberance choir, HONOUR.
Writer Christopher Bowles has been the focus of MMT's third show, 'LIVE: In Technicolor' - a solo act showcasing his skills as a performer and live poet; simultaneously launching his first collection, 'SPECTRUM' to coincide with the live show adaptation.
'SPECTRUM' is now available to buy in kindle and paperback form on Amazon
