About Artec Industries
Artec Industries began as a simple welding and fabrication company in 2003. Founder Artie Nuttall had just bought a 1987 Toyota 4Runner and decided he wanted to build it into a more off-road capable vehicle. After taking a community college welding class, he soon found himself not only welding on his own vehicle but other people's as well. Impressed with not only his skills but artistic capabilities, Artie's father-in-law hired him on various construction jobs. This launched Artec Welding and Fabrication into business and soon he was working on multi-million dollar homes. When the housing market was in decline, Artie turned back to his passion for off-roading but wanted to start manufacturing products rather than creating one-off fabrications. In 2010, he hired friend Nate Price who had experience in the off-road industry and renamed the company to Artec Industries. Since then Artec has become a leader in the the Jeep and Toyota industries and is known for their innovation.
