Welcome to Phar Away Gaming! I am Phar Away and this channel will be dedicated to Let’s Play videos of strategy and simulation games. I have been an avid gamer for the past 30 years and have enjoyed games from sports to RPGs. However, the true gaming category that has been close to my heart since day one has been strategy and simulation games. I grew up with games such as chess or checkers and evolved to games like Starcraft and Civilization. The gameplay involved with strategy and sim games and the complex gameplay has kept me addicted for years. I am proud to say that my daughter is following in my footsteps. Currently she is in love with games such as the The Sims and Minecraft. It was her watching popular Let’s Play youtubers such as Stampy and Squid and their tutorial and gameplay videos that got me turned on to creating my own channel.
