Real Women of Gaming was created in July of 2013 to celebrate women in gaming and to combat the “Fake Gamer Girl” stereotype. We are taking a stand to say to the world that we are not fake or some sexualized fantasy, we are REAL. Real people with a real interest in gaming of all types.

Today, RWoG is a group of people who are committed to their love of gaming. The group consists of women and men who enjoy all types of gaming, from video games to board games to Tabletop RPGs.
