We're doing this now! All in English, I promise - except that one little spot where the guy speaks in a dialect that sounds like he's from Värmland, but hey, I do try.
So: Dreamfall is the... slightly troubled sequel to The Longest Journey. It was considered to be very pretty back then - and it's still easy on the eyes - but was heavily criticized for having a cliffhanger ending. Keep in mind that we didn't get any sequel to Dreamfall until Dreamfall Chapters, which was released in - what - 2015? Nearly a decade in waiting! The controls and inventory management were also... remarked upon, but not TOO harshly.
Dreamfall has a much darker tone than TLJ, and Chapters gets darker still - in a way, mirroring the Harry Potter series.

I do hope you enjoy it. I know I like the music a ton and a half. I'll put a link to an English playthrough of The Longest Journey in an annotation, for those who don't speak Swedish and want to learn more about the series's origins but don't know where to look.
