Damn it I'm behind, I swear half of the most recent video on this channel open with that descriptor but still true. So On this day we actually played two demos, one of which actually made me buy the full game.
First off we finished up Outriders, which....the combat is still fun, but good lord the main character just seems to make their decisions based on how to come across as the worst human being. Every single chance they had to make someone dead they did, but the second someone else does the same, judgment city, and the instance I'm thinking of made 0 sense any way, like it was a quest with an almost literal "rocks fall and everyone dies" ending, I say almost because there was a grenade and a bullet involved but definitely rocks falling too.
The Second game was Loop Hero, and let me say this first, LOOP HERO IS A DELIGHT! I'm not kidding when I say I broke half way through and just bought it, and good news, demo saves carry over to the full game. It's a sort of Roguelike with some city building mechanics, a bit of deck building, some gambling and pseudo puzzle elements too. It's one of those games that you could say nicked a whole bunch of design elements from like 30 other games and should not work but it does!
