1992 turn-based war strategy game for the SNES. We play as Princess Anise, the young ruler of the Tate Family. She has a dismal war rating of 18 (max 200), but it can be improved with some rare key items and special events. She is actually not playable at the start, but with some manipulation she is playable. Summary: do a 2-player game, have player 1 ruler (Tate Family) invade the adjacent player 2 territory and lose on purpose. It could take multiple tries but if player 1 is captured, player 2 has the option to banish the capture ruler and have player 1 pick Anise as the successor to the Tate Family.
Story: the isle of Ishmeria is always at war. There is no unity among the people as each territory is controlled by different royal families. 6 wizards seal a powerful fire dragon and also themselves into a crown. This crown is known as Gemfire, a powerful relic. The tyrannical King Eselred seized the crown and used it to rule in terror. His daughter Princess Robyn steals the crown and releases the wizards and dragon trapped in it. The 6 wizards got scattered into different territories and serve the family ruling over those lands. The Fire Dragon remains in the hands of the King. The goal of the game is to invade each territory, seize control of each land and get back all the Wizards and the Dragon. This will be a long run but I have my mic on and hopefully explain in detail the game mechanics and my game plan.
