1 Run @ Okutama Sprint: GRID AUTOSPORT [PC]
This is an #immersion #comparison video with no commentary for the purposes of a clean captured run that you can compare on your own with "other" videos.
One run through a sprint layout at a specific time of day/weather within a race setting (against AI) for cross referencing with other games, internal weather systems within the same game, or whatever else you are looking for. It also serves to demonstrate these track runs in an ultra-widescreen format that is more appropriate to those of us with hardcore sim rigs, 21:9 ratio in this instance. If you do not have a hardcore rig you you cannot truly appreciate how important field of vision is from a standard 16:9 video... the wider the better in racing (or flying, whatever).
As much as people love to talk about how Autosport was a high point for the GRID series, it has not aged as well as some may believe. While still very playable and enjoyable, the limitations are obvious in terms of a lack of day/night cycle for almost every single track, no weather systems, and a small roster of vehicles. Feedback and general driving feel is also better in 2019 by comparison.
This track run was also captured with 5.1 #SurroundSound audio (I have a set of 5.1 headphones for my rig... though Window$ sometimes does not capture surround audio consistently... just saying).
GAME: GRID Autosport
SPRINT: Okutama - Mizu Mountain
DRIVING: Nissan 2008 R35 GT-R Nismo GT500
TIME: Day
There is a lot that we take for granted in terms of graphic/visual immersion while we are actually gaming, and in the world of simulator "anything" there are a lot of tiny little details that matter on a subconscious level far more than in any other gaming genre... but you can never properly analyse those details while you are "playing" the game.
SAY NO TO DOUCHEBAG INFLUENCER CONTENT: Stop watching all of that garbage from influencers that ramble on about nothing, talk like their audience consists of 12 year olds, and are desperately giving you fake and/or incredibly vague and inaccurate information because they NEED to push out yet another video to stay current in the trending meta sphere. STOP FEEDING THE BEAST!
