1 Second of Oxygen for Nightmare Mode in Subnautica: Below Zero!
0The start of a truly painful and difficult Subnautica: Below Zero run in which we change the settings for oxygen, damage, and so forth to make life far more difficult for us. I'm not entirely sure how easily this will be done or how interesting it'll be to watch as a stream but worst case I'll fool around and see if it's something I want to commit to finishing (which is usually the case for streams).
Specifically, this mod setup for a nightmare run does:
- 1 second of oxygen (and O2 tanks provide no benefit), ensuring a good bit of trouble exploring the ocean.
- 4x damage from enemies, making a number of attacks 1 shot (i.e. all leviathans) or seriously injure Robin. Vehicles also will have a bad time.
- Hunger/thirst/cold build up twice as fast making it much worse to run through the cold or go far without food or water.
