Here are 10 common game-breaking mistakes that often occur in custom AVP2 multiplayer maps.


These 10 scenarios are what came to my mind when I thought about Aliens vs. Predator 2 custom multiplayer maps mistakes that should be avoided. This comes from years of playing, testing, and even creating AvP2 community maps over the years and working on the ultimate map pack.

I hope this video helps anybody making maps for AvP 2.

Each scenario is realistic and has cropped up in at least several community maps before.
These 10 scenarios can render a multiplayer map unplayable.
Most of these situations are easily fixed and avoided, but some on the list may have the mapper at their wit's end with Dedit !

Most of the scenarios demonstrated in this video are staged in order to demonstrate the problem i.e. they're not an indicator of a problem in the maps shown.
