Despite the scourging sun, you don't mind spending your vacation on beaches. Many side attractions make you just love this natural tourist attraction. However, did you know that your life could be endangered when you visit some sites? Yes, this is because some hazards capable of ruining the moment lurk around, and until you're conscious of the trap, you may fall into it.
Before making a bucket list of vacation sites this summer, here are ten dangerous beaches you want to avoid. We begin the countdown from number 10…
10. Cape Tribulation – Australia
You may be closer to your grave if you visit the Cape Tribulation because the location is nothing short of a frustrating site. This beach is located along the coast of Queensland, and it boasts of sandy stretches and aquamarine waters. Despite the alluring looks, dozens of natural traps await you. You are advised not to swim here, but you need to wear a stinger suit if you're desperate for a swim. This is because the water is home to stinging jellyfish patiently waiting to feast on your skin. This is the first red flag.
The second problem you'll encounter is with saltwater crocodiles. Even if your stinger suit shields you from the jellyfish, you certainly won't escape the saltwater crocodile. There is no protective garment to prevent their bite. This cape is also home to cassowaries and flightless birds the size of ostriches with nails sharp enough to rip you from head to toe. Not only are there animals to hold you ransom, but there are also stinging trees with craggy leaves that would continue from where other creatures stopped. Would you still visit Cape Tribulation?

9. Hanakapiai Beach - Hawaii
This beach's beautiful nature gives you a thousand and one reasons to visit it but don't be fooled. The Hanakapiai beach boasts of black cliffs, golden sands, and the blue sea. However, it would help if you resisted the urge to fall into the Kauai paradise temptation. The enticing waters here have strong tides that have taken the lives of numerous uninformed swimmers. Many visitors have met unexpected death a few minutes after they jumped into the beach to swim.
There is no coral reef protecting the area, and this accounts for the uncontrolled tide. Because of the lethal nature of this waterfront, there is no main access road to the place. Curious visitors have to navigate through formidable boulders, streams, and waterfalls. These obstacles do not dissuade people from visiting and seeing things for themselves. The beach is strategically located on the other side of the Hanakapiai stream because the stream is safer than the beach.

8. Bikini Atoll – U.S. Marshall Islands
The South Pacific island in Micronesia has a shady past that contributes a great deal to its future. Unlike many other deadly beaches, this one is free from sharks, crocodiles, or jellyfish but the U.S. Army used it to detonate 23 nuclear weapons between 1946 to 1958. Although the beach is open to tourists, it is better to choose another location. The water is contaminated with radiation, and locally grown coconuts and the fruits around there are unsafe to eat.
You heard about nuclear testing in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, right? What if I told you that the atomic bombs in Bikini Atoll are 1,000 times more powerful? I hope you understand now. Ironically, marine life thrives there. Even if you have Micronesia on your travel bucket list, guess what? There are over 600 islands that you can opt for instead of taking a walk to the Bikini Atoll. Most residents have fled the vicinity for fear that they'll not survive the impact. However, others are adamant and do not want to leave their ancestral home.

7. Boa Viagem Beach – Brazil
If you are considering a beach vacation, one country that readily comes to mind is Brazil. The country has more than 4,5000 miles of coastlines and boasts of one of the world's most photographed beaches. During vacations, thousands of tourists troop into the South American country to feel the natural habitat. If you are visiting Recife, there is one beach you shouldn't get close to, regardless of how tempting it is.
