23 November 1941
We linked up with the defenders at Sollum and after heavy fighting throughout the day several Mathilda tanks are left destroyed and the English border defense is collapsing. I hope to exploit the situation and want to push towards Sidi Barini. That means if the supply situation and high command allow further aggressive advances.

24 November 1941
Preluded by heavy artillery bombardment the commander of the Tobruk garrison finally ordered a breakout. The 16th Infantry Brigade leads the attack against El Duda. The defending Italien units are well dug in, but ill equiped. Luckily the English commander seems to be a vacillator. With the releave force already shattered the order comes late and he seems to be reluctant to fully commit. Maybe it is a mistake but therefore I trust that the Italians will hold with the support of 75th Artillery Regiment and strong Luftwaffe elements. I want Sidi Barini.

25 November 1941
The situation is chaotic. The English commander blindly sent in another attack wave from deep inside the Egytian desert. They obviously got surprised by our quick advance and my Panzers ambushed them in the open desert. English casualties were staggering.

At the Tobruk perimeter the English determination is growing, but the Italian infantry regiments managed to repel severall attacks despite the English commander is now bringing forward his Mathilda tanks. The Italians have nothing that can wound those beasts. Maybe the can be lured in the open desert where my Stukas reign.

Difficulty is set to Rommel and we are trying to do a (almost) blind run here. I will explain some advanced tactics and my thougths about different strategic approaches. For explanations on basics and game mechanic I recommend watching my playthrough of the Wehrmacht campaign.

Comments and Feedback appreciated!
