Now, when you saw this title we know what you were probably thinking. Seeing as Justin Roiland is the co-creator of both Rick & Morty and Solar Opposites there were obviously going to be some pretty big similarities between the two. I mean, they came from the same mind after all. Having two animated sitcoms with dark meta humor, constant pop culture references, sci-fi tropes and an intergalactic setting was always going to draw comparisons - I mean, take Futurama and Rick & Morty for example, those two are often compared. But having these two shows run at the same time with the exact same co-creator, similarities between the two become almost impossible to ignore.
