Attack on Titan and the Naruto franchise have both established themselves as legends in anime history. That has quite a lot to do with the main characters Naruto Uzumaki and Eren Jaeger. Who could ever forget amazing moments like Naruto fighting Pain, Naruto saving Sasuke and Naruto finally becoming Hokage like he had dreamed from the very first episode? On the other end, how could you ever forget moments like Eren becoming a Titan the first time, Eren defeating Reiner or when he started stomping on a city in full Titan form? These two heroes might seem very different, but their arcs crossover in various interesting ways.
The two have surprisingly similar pasts when you think about it. From the brutal way they were orphaned, to the monstrous powers they both have inside, to the mysteries they both had to endure, Naruto and Eren were born into very similar circumstances. The way they handled those circumstances also had more similarities than you might think. Sure, Naruto’s hopeful to a fault attitude clashes with what we’ve recently seen from Eren, but the way they’ve shaped their worlds certainly does have a lot in common. They also both started as the least impressive warriors in their classes. The two also have the exact same headstrong attitude which is responsible for their highest highs and lowest lows.
