My final metroidvania before taking a break from the genre for a bit was more like a metroidvania-lite. Diet metroidvania? A 2D puzzler with metroidvania elements. The game is quite fun, though a little dated now. Very short, easily finishable in a single session. The trophies are all related to hidden collectibles though, which would be horrific to find without a guide (several literally require teleporting off screen through walls). The story gets a little silly by the end, but otherwise fun enough.
