After hours and hours of experimentation, five video uploads and a lot of violent explosions, It would seem that I have come to the end of the proverbial nuclear reactor river. After a long disappearance from the MindCrafters Tekkit Lite server (which I was repeatedly yelled at for), I'll be returning to the work that I've been neglecting for so long...but not without first showing off the most supremely superfluous nuclear power plant that I could imagine and build.

First and most importantly I can say with absolute certainty that this reactor is 100% reliable and safe....and the best part?...it NEVER needs to be shut off! How could such a task be accomplished...and is it even practical? Well this is Minecraft, so practicality shouldn't even enter into the equation; it's all about creativity, and creativity is only limited by the imagination of the builder. But to answer the original question, yes it is practical. The reason such beast of a factory would ever be found on the landscape of a survival server is simple, and it all comes down to the limitations of solar panels. Tekkit Lite has no condensers or collectors so we have to get our resources from somewhere, and that "somewhere" is UU matter. When mass fabricators aren't receiving a direct stream of power from the sun via solar panels they slow down tremendously, and that goes for every other machine that requires EU as well. What we needed was a heavy, steady stream of power that could keep all of our machines running at full throttle even after the sun went down. Nuclear power was the answer.

So from the ashes and nuclear fallout left behind by numerous meltdowns and hours of experimenting, arises this...the mother of all reactors. Enjoy the video, as CaptainJack sails proudly out towards the nuclear sunset with his next challenge already on the horizon...

Stay poised my friends...you haven't seen the last of the Captain!
