-1000+ Exalts used!! 🔥 METACRAFTING Chimeric Twirl 🔥 -The #1 Elemental Attack Ring in PoE!
272Hey guys, i am literally shaking right now... I just finished metacrafting this absolute beast of a ring, and man o' man, was this a rollercoaster of emotions. The whole journey started with me buying about 300 Deafening essences of Scorns from a friend.(Getting these is a pain in the ass in standard, so had to pay a good price of almost a mirror for the bunch). As I previously had used roughly 800 deafenings of scorn since Synthesis League and never hit this suffix combo, it seemed so far away. But nontheless, i knew i had to try, since this base was too amazing not to craft on. And so it began... After roughly 100 scorns in, the magic moment happened, and i managed to beast slam the attack speed on, a mod that only has a 0.5% chance of spawning. I was super stoked, but I still knew that I had a long ride ahead of me, as prefixes on rings can be super hard to hit.
After a few days i had liquidated some mirrors and was able to start the metacrafting process. After a few hundred exalts a big dilemma popped up. I had hit t1 life and t1 physical damage, but the problem is, that the EXACT same ring already exists (Ahfack owns it)... Since i didn't want to make any drama, and also didn't want to bother trying to cut eachothers dicks off by lowering the fees, i knew i had to reroll it. I was now about 500 exalts into the metacrafting process and had only seen t1 WED once. I knew i had to continue...
After about 600 more exalts I hit WED again, and managed save it by annulling the other shit stat. But it bricked... At this point i knew that it would take a hell of a lot of currency to hit the combo i wanted, being t1 life and WED... But it had to be done, so i sold another mirror, and here, roughly a total of 1200 exalts in i managed to first hit WED, and then slam life on it! I am still super pumped about it, and cant believe it happened. I never expected to hit both t1 prefixes, as they are super, super rare to hit! (i think 5000+ exalts on avg to hit them)
But yeah guys, this is how the story ended

CHIMERIC TWIRL MOD BREAKDOWN:
Implicits: The crit multiplier is the strongest DPS mod you can have for crit builds, as it's essentially another way to scale your critical hits. The Increased life is just super strong overall, as it is essentially getting 1.5 extra life nodes on the tree. This increase is based on all your flat life modifiers on gear, and on an avg. build this translates into roughly 200 extra life on your build. For an implicit stat this is crazy good!
Suffixes: Again the crit multiplier is the strongest stat you can have on a ring. This mod cannot normally spawn, so I had to use essences to get it on here, so this is why you dont see a ring with crit multi every day. The attack speed speaks for itself, but the all-res is also very strong. In the real end-endgame, any elemental build wants to balance their resists to be able to use the Wise Oak flask. This means they want to have the same amount of fire, cold and lightning resists. For this reason, all-res is the best stat to get on here, as it doesn't interfere with the balanced resists, while still bringing your resists up.
Prefixes: The life is again just a very strong mod, and is kinda mandatory for any life build that doesn't go full glass-cannon. The Elemental Damage with Attack Skills (shortened EDWA or WED), is very strong for any elemental attack build out there. It gives you a whopping 42% increased damage from a single stat, translating into roughly 3-4 nodes on the skill tree. This is HUGE. The last mod is 20% damage, as that is the best possible 3rd mod you can have. This mod also speaks for itself :D
