Hello everyone. I'm Jason Montgomery from Calgary, Alberta, Canada on Treaty 7 land. Home of the Blackfoot Confederacy, the Tsuu T’ina Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda Nation; along with the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.

Extra Life connects gamers from around the world to help raise money for sick and injured children across Canada and the USA through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

This will be my tenth year taking part, and this year I’m back in the #100DaysOfGaming challenge! Starting July 28, 2022, I will play something, anything, for at least an hour every day for one hundred days until November 5. The goal is to get the word out there for Extra Life and build up momentum and get more people involved before the big day.

The first time I did #100DaysOfGaming in 2018 and it was pretty seat-of-my-pants when choosing which games to play and when. In 2019, I focused on Final Fantasy VII as I wanted to beat the original game before FFVII Remake came out. And I did: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/505000092

I stepped aside from the challenge in 2020, but I came back in 2021, and this year it’s once again time to “Raid the Arcade!”

I’ll be streaming (mostly) classic retro games each night! I’m armed with a collection of mini consoles, game compilations, and an Evercade! That’s an entire library of vintage games all at my fingertips, so this will be fun! But I’ll also stream more current stuff along the way, depending on what comes out between now and Extra Life Game Day or if something's in the news.
