For every given symptoms of failure, there are a myriad of possible causes when it comes to electronics ( or humans! ).

In this particular instance, we have some very localised bug-pee damage which has rendered our 820-00165 mainboard mostly-dead aside from a short startup attempt but shutting down before getting to a proper boot.
