10th Anniversary of the Show
0The Red Sox begin the upcoming season as defending champions, but it'll be without their mainstay of the team, Xander Bogarts. Near the end of last season, Bogarts suffered an devastating injury, which required immediate surgery to an torn rotator cuff. The Red Sox didn't let it effect them, unlike two seasons ago with the injury of their international outfielder. They went on to win the World Series and dedicated this victory to their elite shortstop. Afterward, the MLB medical staff informed the Red Sox that Bogarts has officially retired due to injury. It remains to be seen how this will effect the landscape of the franchise, heading into the new season
