9One thing that's just different about the Klingons vs. the Federation is those damned forward firing arcs. As I noted in my first match, the USS Defiant isn't quite the powerhouse it appears to be in this game, purely because its firepower is all forward. Thus, if you swing around and make passes and whatnot, you'll end up with less apparent DPS than a lot of Federation ships with their wide phaser arcs, aft torpedoes, and all that.
I offer this not as an excuse for my play, but just to say that over the other matches I've done off-screen (out of humiliation), I've sure learned that neither the Klingons nor the Romulans are for me. We'll see how the Borg fare when we get there, eventually...
