Some very exciting leaks for AMD Zen 5 today, as a benchmark has LEAKED for 12 CORE Zen 5 CPU. We also have some interesting updates for Intel ARC Battlemage, as Battlemage G21 has been SPOTTED.
Join us we examine the leaked performance benchmarks for the 12 core Zen 5 Strix Point processor (or more properly, the Strix Point APU), and see how it performs in comparison not only to other Ryzen CPUs, but to competing Intel parts well. But the big question is, after months of leaks on the hardware specs of Ryzen Strix Point - just how does it COMPETE? Does it meet some pretty high expectations, in terms of both specifications and performance?
And as mentioned, we also have some updates for Intel Battlemage, as the Intel Battlemage BMG-G21 GPU with the Xe2 architecture has been SPOTTED, confirming that Intel Battlemage is INCOMING and will be soon to take the stage for it's official unveiling. Intel ARC Alchemist was a disappointment at launch for numerous reasons, so it's crucial that Battlemage has a more successful reveal and release than it's predecessor. By all accounts, the Battlemage graphics card is not going to be toppling the RTX 40 flagship anytime soon, but if it can offer competitive gaming and ray tracing performance in it's performance and pricing tier, it could still be what many gamers have been hoping for - more competition in this AMD and Nvidia dominated space.
