Simon Beaufoy won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay in 2009 for "Slumdog Millionaire." This year, he reteams with "Slumdog" director, Danny Boyle, for another thought-provoking and captivating film! I love this movie!

Based on the true story of Aron Ralston as chronicled in his book, "Between a Rock and a Hard Place," "127 Hours" captured the harrowing tale of Ralston, trapped under a boulder while canyoneering alone near Moab, Utah. We've all heard what happened next -- Ralston resorted to cutting off his right arm to free himself.

Ralston's tale was harrowing, but the film provided a smart, enjoyable, and entertaining experience.
