Natsuno really is a bundle of sunshine. She is incapable of wrong. Only "oops". Also we get a fucking AWESOME scene in Exterminator. Watching Juro Izumi (2 Loops Ago) have a fight with Tamao Kurabe (1 Loop Ago), and we don't even get to watch most of it, just imagine it. So badass. We stan.
We're getting to the midgame, so we're really getting some great fucking scenes now. A lot of this stuff could play pretty early or pretty late depending on the order you do things, so it's nice to see lots of really juicy, great and memorable scenes now that a lot of the introductory stuff is out of the way. I do love this entire game from start to finish but even I have to admit the early game just isn't the same as the really great plot twists and mystery setup you start getting in mid-game, and the fucking batshit insane plot revelations of lategame.
I think I'm going to call this one of the best chapters in the midgame, and that's high praise considering how consistently excellent this game is. I think it's only really fair to rank most chapters around the earlygame, midgame or lategame next to each other just because of the difference in tone and what the game at large feels like at those points, but for the midgame, this is absolutely one of the best. Incredibly memorable.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a mix of a story heavy sci-fi adventure, mixed with real time strategy, tower defense gameplay, developed by Vanillaware and published by Atlus. The game follows 13 different protagonists, each with their own engaging journeys that constantly intertwine and add to the mystery of figuring out this non-chronological timeline, with time travel, aliens, androids, secret intelligence agencies, and many more. A love letter to all things sci-fi, 13 Sentinels uses the unique strengths of the medium of video games to tell a grand narrative that has never been seen before, and can never be recreated.
This playthrough assumes you are already familiar with the game. There is full spoiler discussion throughout, and this should not be used as a replacement for playing the game. If you have not played the game, please do not watch this series, go buy the game and play it yourself as blind as possible, I promise you won't regret it.
