I am not nearly smart enough for 1-dimensional Pac-Man, it turns out! = ooo

The Pac-like player character can go through the tunnel at the sides of the screen but the ghost can't. Eating all the dots increases the score multiplier and respawns the dots, but also increased the ghost's speed; at x5 or so I don't think there's a way to beat the ghost to the dots at the center, sooo yeah you can't let yourself get into that situation! There's a point I think where the ghost will just get too fast and you've got to maximize your points by eating the ghost at every opportunity up to that point!
