From the Square 5.1ch Movie Collection (スクウェア 5.1chムービーコレクション) , a somewhat rare oddity/collectible, a "not for sale" DVD that was included as a bonus disc in a sales campaign for the I-O Data P2DiPOLE surround sound speaker. Included are a small selection of CG FMV cutscenes from the popular Square PS1 titles Final Fantasy VIII, Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon 2, Front Mission 3 and Chrono Cross.
The CGi scenes were selected to show the power of 5.1 channel surround sound with your new toy, a shame there aren't scenes with music, I would have loved to have seen a high quality version of Chrono Cross's intro or the spectacular Final Fantasy VIII dance routine.
At the moment, this is the best quality I could capture with my current setup. I am using OBS on Mac and my video capture options are less than desirable--I can do a lot better in the future, and when I can, I'll update this channel with hopefully a really stunning upload. DVD played on a PS5 outputting 2K, upscaled to 4K in Davinci Resolve.
