An in-warranty Apple A2141 has come in after it spontaneously shut down. Apple having inspected the machine has suggested a logic-board replacement and no option of data recovery.
The machine ended up with critical shorted parts on the logic board which after replacement restored the machien back to working order.
Given the tendency for this model ( and the A1990 ) to suffer these kinds of failures it is actually suggested moving to a different model and of course keeping backups on a more regular basis, preferrably via iCloud or similar.
Second part of the video is about the new PLD-USBC-METER USB C current and voltage meter which is in its proof-of-concept stage.
