I think I'm the worst person ever at Marathon, Marathon 2: Durandal, AND Marathon Infinity...which I probably incorrectly called "Marathon Infinite" at some point.
Bungie made the Marathon games or source or I dunno public domain and I downloaded these versions of them for Windows--they're running in a modernish engine thing I think--from https://alephone.lhowon.org/
Not sure why Infinity wasn't getting image capture for its first 45 seconds, except that I was carelessly flying by the seat of my pants on the capture settings with these. = P
At least in Infinity I just got owned rather than being unable to find anywhere to go, so...that felt slightly better! = D
My only Marathon experience prior to this was seeing people playing deathmatch with missile launchers and stuff over the college network in the Mac-stocked computer lab of my old dorm. Hm I graduated in '96 so it couldn't have been Infinity since that didn't come out until October of that year. I guess it was probably the first game; I only ever heard people refer to it as "Marathon."
