Having an emotionally detached and immature parent as an adult can lead to a lot of internalized pain.

Once a baby comes into the world he or she are fully dependent on the parent.
When that parent cannot properly support the child, that child suffers attachment issues, mood fluctuations, an inability to self-sooth, anxiety, and fears.
