I got a call from a fellow who is down to his last functioning1541 and it has stopped working!!!

As the disk spins when it is inserted, it is the very short board...

So I will send over a similar drive so he can figure out if it is the mechanism, the circuit board, or the power supply.

And we can go from there!!!
