DIDN'T find the game too grindy/monotonous this time, then again I was nonstop babbling silly theories of why Capcom (and Technos Japan, who made the Double Dragon series that inspired Final Fight) never really went this big on an original IP beat em up in the arcade again.

The background colors in this game are so good.

I keep forgetting that TMNT (Oct 11, 1989) came out a month and a half BEFORE Final Fight (Nov 25, 1989).

Anyway, I guess I do like Final Fight okay. ^ _^ Now, can I make myself go back to FF2? Never DID play through it as Maki.
