This week Slosh & Buuz review the 1776 American Brown Ale from James E. Pepper … You can find all about the James E. Pepper Distilling Co. here – http://jamesepepper.com/
The Points!
1 – Price – between $25 and $35
2 – Where we found it – We bought this at Liquor Barons in Bull Creek
3 – Size – 600ml
4 – 10.4% alcohol
5 – Head – A creamy head floating on a deep brown/dark thick rich ale …
6 – Presentation – I love the label on this beer … the burnt edges give it that old authentic feel … like it has been sitting at the bottom of the ocean after surviving a ship wreck … the beer itself looks amazing … it completely absorbs the light …
7 – Taste – Slosh – 10/10 – “10/10 Tears of blood …” … Buuz 6/10 – “It’s on the dark-side of the brown … this is a beer and it’s dark …” … Space-Peanut 9/10 “I would kill you two to drink it …”
Welcome back for Season 2 of one of my favourite shows that we do … Beer O'Clock with Slosh & Buuz ... which we are still planning to put up every Sunday afternoon ... and is 50% a reason for me and my old friend Buuz to hang out and drink beer once a month and 50% to share some strange and random beers that we find over the month ... we will be trying beer we KNOW we won't like ... beers we think we might like ... or anything that has a strange or interesting name ... all in the name of the theme of the month!
