Welcome back to Slosh's Bar & Grill for our third annual advent calendar ... this year I will be combining both Beer O’Clock with Slosh and Buuz and Slosh’s Sauces … which I am sure seemed like a good idea at the time … 25 beers and 25 hot sauces in 25 days … this is my favourite challenge of the year … I am totally trying to hide the information for which beer and sauce I got today by writing a really long introduction … I think it might be long enough now so …

The Beer of the day – Fixation IPA (6.4%) 330 mls - from the Fixation Brewing Co. - piney citrus and a clean refreshing taste shining through at the start … hoppy but not overwhelmingly bitter … perfect for a summers afternoon in the Australian sun …

7/10 on taste …

The Sauce of the Day – The Elixir – a multi award winning sweet and hot Caribbean style sauce from the Hellfire Hot Sauce Company … seriously this is amazing stuff … you have no idea just how many things this goes with … how well it pairs with almost everything you can think of … not superhot for the true chilli-fiend but a complex fruity fresh taste that I’ve never experienced anywhere else … this is fucking unreal … if you see it … buy it … MORE THAN ONE OF IT … oh and I absolutely love the bottle that looks like a hip flask …

10/10 Taste … 6/10 Heat
