Welcome back to Slosh's Bar & Grill for our third annual advent calendar ... this year I will be combining both Beer O’Clock with Slosh and Buuz and Slosh’s Sauces … which I am sure seemed like a good idea at the time … 25 beers and 25 hot sauces in 25 days … this is my favourite challenge of the year … I am totally trying to hide the information for which beer and sauce I got today by writing a really long introduction … I think it might be long enough now so …

The Beer of the day - Sunset Ale (4.6%) 330 mls – pours a deep auburn red … notes of toffee and malty afters … on the bottle they say the “brew is round, rich and flavoursome.” – perfectly illustrated … like the azure sky of deepest summer …

8/10 on taste …

The Sauce of the Day – the Special Reserve Peri Peri Sauce 250ml (Ltd Edition) X Hot – which is simply delicious … MrSauceZ is completely 100% responsible for me going from despising per-peri sauce and finding it massively over-rated … to becoming a bit of an addict … I am so happy you made me hiccup … it has been so long … that was awesome … The X Hot sauce is really “that good” …

10/10 Taste … 8/10 Heat
