19. Doom - PS1 (Duckstation)

Few games in history can claim to having such a massive impact on gaming, when it first came out in 1993 on PC ! The PS1 version is more like a compilation of PC Doom games, featuring 28 levels from Ultimate Doom, 24 levels from Doom 2 and 7 original levels, for a grand total of 59 levels !
Originally developed by Id Software, the game was converted to PS1 by Williams, which did a fantastic job ! While technically inferior to the PC version, fans praised the brilliant new soundtrack, better lighting and more horrific atmosphere. Lets not forget the inclusion of the link-up mode, in which you could either play in coop or deathmatch ! It was great having this legendary game in the PS1 library and the game still has a cult following to this day !
Its important to note that because of its very particular graphics engine, the Duckstation emulator does not manage to do anti aliasing on this game, not yet anyway. It still looks and plays better than on PS1 however.
