Skyward Sword is generally not as highly regarded as other Zelda games of the same time period and I think the main reason was the motion controls, which not everyone liked. Playing on the Dolphin emulator, its possible to find gamepad profiles that work pretty damn well without the motion controls, and the graphics are much improved ! Having said that, there is no doubt whatsoever that the best way to play this gem is with the Nintendo Switch remastered version !
With perfect gamepad controls the game becomes totally awesome, kind of what the Twilight Princess would be without the annoying wolf sections, with instead sections involving flying on a giant bird, which are a lot more fun !
Skyward Sword is a brilliant game that I very much enjoyed, and is without doubt one of the very best games in the Wii (and the Switch) library !
