1911 Allentown Fairgrounds Grandstands
Daily Vlog: 0156 (11/19/22)
Built in 1911 at the cost of $100,000, the beautiful grandstands at the Allentown Fairgrounds is a perfect example of early 1900’s architecture. Sadly the structure is a shell of what it once was, with it’s arches bricked in, pigeon poop everywhere, and what looks to be a lack of upkeep. Thankfully enough remains, including some original wooden seating, that one can still see what once was and admire its beauty.
