No response now from the show overlay map command [D Pad ^] with HUD turned off. Previously, with or w/o HUD active, the mini-map (which is not visible w/o HUD) could be enlarged as a more comprehensive map overlay of the center right area of the screen. A fairly essential feature for playing w/o a HUD, for quick location reference, ESPECIALLY on CAPTURE missions, where itcan not be discerned if the direction toward the target is even correct at all, and often can become necessary if the target is lost from immediate visual range during pursuit for any of a multitude of reasons or circumstances, one of the best ruses being seen used here, luckily without success. But having to re-cover mountingly re-fortified territory while trying to navigate to extraction point without any reference was unnecessarily damned costly. Especially given that the territory is new, having not set foot on this ship in Saturn Orbit yet before. A comparison mission will have to be run next.
