1968 F303 GT40P Mustang Start Up, Custom Resto Mod Nate Pace
This is the first start up of my 1968 Mustang after it sat for over a year.
I gave it a rough tune back then and it held it.
The car has a super long list of modifications to it. It's not meant to be a race car but should still be fun if taken to open track days. A good friend of mine John installed frame rails, a custom exhaust, and many other things helping me each step of the way and taking on a good deal by himself while I was traveling doing shows.
The engine is a throttle body injected GT40P engine with Hooker headers (modified to clear the plugs) a Edlebrock intake and a F303 cam.
The suspension is modified with KBY shocks, 5 leaf (shhhh about the rate) springs in the rear with half eye drop up front (on the rear springs) custom front springs and a "Shelby" drop on the front control arms with bearings to replace the bushings. Larger sway bar up front and a sway bar added in the rear. Poly bushings throughout.
It's been converted from a auto to a World Class T-5 with some custom frame ties added to hold everything together. Por 15 on the underside.
