This is a 1 loop clear on Time Pilot made by Konami in 1982.

In this game you're a fighter pilot traveling through time to save parachute guys? I really have no idea, but you start off in the 40s fighting propeller planes and taking down the Hindenburg. Then progressing through time till you fight UFOs.
On that last stage against the UFOs you really have to change up the strategy as your plan so far doesn't work as the UFOs patterns and their weapons are totally different.

This is a really cool game and surprisingly fun to play. Pretty difficult too.
